No one outside the firm creates an account. Signers receive a one-time link, see exactly what they're signing, and sign in the browser.

What the signer sees

The link opens on the key terms in plain language — who it's from, the project, their role and their fee — in the signer's own language, before the full legal text. That specificity is deliberate: it is how talent knows the request is genuine and not phishing. The page states plainly that it never asks for payment, passwords, or bank details, and offers a way to verify with the production.

The signing ceremony

Agree to the signing method and a privacy notice tailored to the jurisdiction, read the agreement, and sign. Anyone who wants changes can propose a redline instead of signing — it routes to counsel. For a minor, the link addresses the guardian, who signs as the holder of patria potestad; where both parents must sign, each gets their own link. When it's done, the executed document is filed against the production automatically and a copy goes to the signer.

Proof of authority

A signature isn't always enough. A location owner must show they can grant the location; a minor needs a birth certificate. BALA marks these as required documents and holds the person as not-ready until they are on file — chasing the landlord or guardian for them, not just the signature.

Evidence, by jurisdiction

Each signature is captured with tamper-evident evidence on the legal basis the jurisdiction expects, so the executed agreement stands as real chain-of-title — not a scanned afterthought.
